Paul Loebach is a designer with a rich background deeply influenced by his heritage and surroundings. Growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, amidst the industrial landscapes of the American Midwest, he hails from a family of German woodworkers, with his father having been a pioneer in manufacturing engineering, particularly in the development of new plastic forming technologies for Union Carbide during the 1970s.
After earning his degree from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2002, Paul made a significant move to New York City, where he founded his own design studio. His specialization lies in the realm of wood furniture and emerging manufacturing technologies. His design work represents a harmonious blend of his family's long-standing woodworking legacy and his interest in the cutting-edge manufacturing processes of today. This unique fusion of heritage and modern innovation informs his creative approach and sets him apart in the world of design.
Roll & Hill is an American design-minded furniture and lighting company based in New York, known for its high-quality pieces made in collaboration with independent designers.
