Inspired by the freedom and abandon of a bird in flight, the Night Birds Mini Pendant uses a unique production technology which involves melting glass into a mold and bending it. The various options depict the wing motions of a bird in flight, which will create a dramatic effect when multiple pendants are installed in a group. Night Birds Mini is available in Brokisglass, which is made from melting fragments of glass which retain their original shape in the finished piece, or Massif glass which possesses a more uniform appearance with gradual color transitions. Includes 4.7 inch mounting plate to cover a standard US junction box.

About Boris Klimek
Boris Klimek graduated in studies of Product and Conceptual Design on Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague / AAAD Prague /. During his studies he attended interships in England / Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield /, Slovakia / Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Bratislava / or in product design studios in Prague led by designers Michal Fronk and Jan Nmeek / Olgoj Chorchoj /. Boris has been awarded a number of awards for his product design. Currently he works in Prague, where he focus on product and interior design. In his work he tries to find a certain conceptual overlaps, games and stories. He tries to make his products not only functional but mostly poetic, playful and able to stimulate the human imagination and emotions.
