Designed by Marc SadlerRead Bio
The Poppy Multi Light Pendant features a grouping of delicate flower-shaped pendants that can be positioned freely to create customizable arrangements. The pendants are powered by a low voltage, silver-colored copper wire extending from the canopy to each pendant, which transforms a functional element of the fixture into a poetic decorative touch. The poppies are made of translucent Lentiflex with red-colored brass stems, and some flowers are randomly airbrushed in red to make each fixture truly one of a kind. TRIAC, Trailing Edge, 0-10V, or PWM dimmable.

About Marc Sadler
French citizen born in Austria, Marc Sadler currently lives in Milan. Experimentation with plastics has often formed a key part of his activity. A citizen of the world (he has lived and worked for many years in Europe, North America and Asia), he is a consultant for companies in the fields of home furnishings, large and small household appliances, lighting, technically advanced products, and sports.
At the beginning of the seventies, he perfected the first ski-boot in thermo plastic material. Completely recyclable it was subsequently commercialized by the Italian firm Caber (later known as Lotto). This is the origin of his specialization as a sports designer, which led to close collaboration with the most important multinational sport companies in the United States, Asia, and Europe, both in the sport shoes and in other sport fields: ski, tennis racquets, golf clubs, etc.
Working in this sector, which has often pioneered research into new materials and techniques, provided the experience to enable him to bring innovation to more traditional areas where is set a concept of design as pure aesthetic shape.
Awarded with the Compasso d'Oro ADI (Industrial Design association) for the lamps Drop (Flos, 1994), Tite and Mite (Foscarini, 2001) and the bookshelf Big (Caimi Brevetti, 2008), his work has won many international design awards over the years. His motorcyclist's back protector designed for Dainese is now housed in the permanent collection of design at the MOMA in New York and the lamp Mite (Foscarini) is part of the design collection of the Beaubourg in Paris.
Despite his reputation as a technical designer, Marc Sadler has a strong feeling for painting and drawing, finding it so emotionally absorbing as to consider it his real passion.
