The AJ Eklipta Wall / Ceiling Light was formerly known as the AJ Discus light. The fixture emits soft comfortable light and is uniformly lit. The three layer hand blown opal glass shade has a transparent edge, providing a decorative halo of light around the fixture. Mounts directly to a standard junction box. Available with halogen or LED lamping options. Wet location rated. cUL and UL listed.

About Arne Jacobsen
Born and raised in Copenhagen, Arne Jacobsen graduated as an architect from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1927. Upon graduatingm he landed his first job at the office of the City Architect of Sopenhagen and soon launching his own office two years later. A world famous architect, his buildings are all throughout Denmark, Germany and the United Kingdom. His most famous projects include, National Bank in Copenhagen (1971), SAS Royal Hotel & Terminal, Copenhagen (1960), and St. Catherine's College in Oxford, UK (1963). Over the years he ventured into various fields related to his work, such as light fixtures, furniture, cutlery, door handles, sanitary fixtures, fabrics, and wallpaper patterns. "The Egg" and "The Swan" are two famous chairs designed by Jacobsen.
