The sconce is very pretty. It is a a flat black sconce , and it is very sleek and modern. My boyfriend installed it and said it was easy. He placed it in our bedroom for reading at night. We like it so much we are going to get a second one for the other side of the bed. It gives off the perfect light for bedtime

My husband installed this inplace of an existing fixture, he said it was easy to understand the directions. We tried it pointed up like the instructions said but I had him turn it so it faced down instead. I like it better facing down. So far that hasn't caused any issues. I love the frost glass around the light. It makes the light a soft glow instead of harsh lighting. It's a beautiful piece and fits my decor well.

I am absolutely loving this light fixture! Super gorgeous design, easy to install, and it looks amazing all set up. The quality is great and feels very durable. I really enjoy being able to transform my space with light fixtures and will definitely be purchasing from this brand again!

This light is very elegant. It was very easy to install. We redid our bathroom and wanted to add some elegant style to the bathroom. I got to say this goes very well in our new bathroom. With lights on or off. I love the style of the shade. Also with this light, you can hang upside down or upright, Either way, it will look beautiful. The light gives off the right amount of light. This light does require modification of the mounting hardware. Overall this light is the perfect accent for your bathroom.

I have really enjoyed using this product. It has clean, modern lines, well-defined details, and it was well-packaged. The frosted glass cylinder hides the bulb while dispersing light effectively. I mounted this light facing down in order to deter insects and dust from settling inside like most wall sconces. I also used this product in my bedroom near my bed since I wanted some ambiance lighting around my bed. After the easy installation, it was looking pretty elegant. The weight of this product was more substantial than I originally thought, so that is how I figured that this product was built with durability in mind. The best part of this wall sconce is that it won't take up a significant portion of your wall space because of its compact design. Many typical wall sconce lights fail to put out much light but this product does it in spades. The style and illumination features of this wall sconce are second to none and it really delivers on being a more modern decor feel so anybody who decides to get this type of wall sconce is in for a special treat of ambient lighting. The only reason I took off the one star from this product is because the black faceplate or mounting arm looked rather cheaply made so I didn't really expect much out of it. However, the black color also makes the lighting set piece look more professional in its lighting demeanor, so any which way you look, you won't be disappointed because I was ecstatic to see the shining results of this lighting product. I want to personally thank the manufacturer for creating such an awesome wall sconce product! Thumbs up from me and you should get one as well!

The hardware package was incomplete and the mounting plate did not work with the hardware provided. The mounting screws were also about 1/4" long. I'm a custom home builder and this install package was a joke. I'm returning these lights.
