Designed by Bruno GecchelinRead Bio
The Mezzaluna Floor Lamp is a modern update to Bruno Gecchelin's original 1975 design. Intended to provide lighting for an entire room, Mezzaluna's semi-circular lamp head houses a powerful LED light source which directs light outward through an opening in one side of the shade. The lamp head can be tilted side to side, allowing for direct, downward lighting or indirect lighting directed upwards toward the ceiling. The telescoping stem can be used to adjust the height of the lamp, and a round marble base provides stability and a luxe material accent. Dimmer switch located on lamp head. Filters for 2400K and 2700K color temperature are included.

Founded in 2008, DCW editions sought to bring the past to light, with an eye on the future. They began with the GRAS lamp from inventor Bernard-Albin Gras. Their work always feels a bit industrial chic, timeless yet rooted in a bygone era. Julien Porche's Surpil chair, Bernard Schottlander's Mantis lamps, Bertrand Balas's Here Comes the Sun pendant, Dominique Perrault and Galle Lauriot-Prvost's In the Tube collection form just a portion of their growing - and award-winning - selection of unique fixtures.
