About Yaacov Kaufman
Yaacov Kaufman is an Israeli designer known for his work in both Israel and Europe. Not just a lighting designer, Kaufman has worked for Lumina Italia, Tecno, Arflex, Luxo-Luxit, Porro, Serien, Monkey Business and many others. He was won various awards for his work such as the Form Design 88 award, the Red Dot Design award, and the Chicago Athenaeum award. Internationally his work is displayed in galleries and museums. Not only a designer, Kaufman also works as a Professor at the Industrial Design Department at the Bezalel Academy of Art and design in Jerusalem. He is currently residing in Tel Aviv, Israel.
