This fixture is very true to the product images. The textured metal doesn't look particularly authentic when viewed in bright daylight, but in an interior space like a hallway where most of the light is coming from the fixture itself, the pebbling does a very nice job of preventing the metal from being lost as a black silhouette against the glowing dome. Installation is relatively easy since the heavy glass dome need not be installed until wiring is complete and the housing is mounted.
