The Cobalt 4, 5 or 6 Inch round retrofit adjustable downlight trim is designed for use in most existing IC or Non-IC housings by Nora Lighting and others. The adjustable mechanism rotates and adjusts while never exposing an opening the ceiling plane. 358 degree rotation and 30 degree tilt. Features field adjustable beam spreads (99 degree flood installed, 38 degree spot and 69 degree narrow flood included). Supplied with medium base socket adapter. Frosted lens installed, semi-frosted lens included. Includes a 120 volt integral dimmable LED driver with 12 watts up to 1000 lumens (4 inch) and 14 watt up to 1200 lumens (5 and 6 inch). Dimmable with an electronic low voltage or TRIAC dimmer, sold separately.

The design compromises don't work. Its a good idea gone bad. Conceptually an adjustable gimble can light that is fully recessed in the can sounds like a great idea. This product fails. Most of the light shines onto the fixture dome. It produces a ton on glare off beam.
Typical recessed fixtures control this glare with baffels or other design techniques. This one has nothing. It hurts your eyes.
Worst off is that Lightology won't take it back as a return because it was "installed." Installed means ever plugged in.
Suggest not purchasing unless you are positively sure you are comfortable with the glare. Lightology response is equally poor.
