The Plane Lounge Chair features a bold design with a structure of geometric wooden pieces in a seemingly impossible balancing act. Made of solid wood with a cantilevered seat and internal joinery, Plane is a statement piece designed to be passed down through generations. The gently curved seat and back contrast the linear legs for a striking geometric look.

About Jamie McLellan
Jamie McLellan graduated with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design in 1999 and since has been designing everything from footwear to striking fixtures for manufacturers around the world. Before opening his own practice in 2006, McLellan was a Senior Designer for Tom Dixon.
Today, McLellan spends time in New York and Auckland, New Zealand where he works with talented teams of designers and manufacturers to develop unique products that transform interiors. His clients include both start-ups and highly established brands alike. These diverse relationships make McLellan's seemingly small practice a productive and successful one.
Some of McLellan's most notable works include the Spar Floor Lamp, Spar Jnr, Fibre Light and the Eccentric Mobile.
