The light mounts to your ceiling with a round canopy base, while the large short drum shade is crafted of natural woven paper with trim along the top and bottom to match. To softly disperse and evenly distribute the light, a white diffuser is incorporated into the light's design.

Looks just like whats pictured online. I needed an electrician to install but Im not very handy. It may be too dim but the diffuser part at the bottom pops out easily if I ever want it to be brighter.
