The Bridge Lamp represents sculptural simplicity driven by design. This visually striking luminous bridge has no joints, formed out of a single sheet of metal cut by lasers and folded into shape. LED light is emitted from the top bar and shines downward, providing ambient lighting for a bedroom or living room. A simple wave of the hand triggers an optical sensor at the center to turn the light on and off.
The Dark Red version is made of steel treated with a liquid finish, while the Brass is made of brass that has been polished and coated with enamel to prevent tarnishing.

About Francesco Meda
Francesco Meda was born in 1984 in Milan, where he graduated in Industrial Design at IED. Then he worked in London with Sebastian Gergne and Ross Lovegrove and in 2008 returned to Italy and started collaborating with the Schoeni Art Gallery of Hong Kong, Henraux, Luce di Carrara and Caimi Brevetti. In 2013 he launched his own brand and showcased his creations at the Triennale Museum in Milan and at the MAXXI in Rome. His award winning creations mix modern techniques with traditional and precious materials for a timeless, sophisticated effect.
