Meet design duo Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel. Together they founded Studio Job in 2000 and haven't looked back. Since graduating from Dutch Design Academy in Eindhoven, they soon formed a studio and have been breaking new design boundaries. Often times Studio Job references composer Richard Wagner's aesthetic ideals in their design practices as they strive to let their work embody varying mythologies and New Gothic themes. The Studio includes traditional craftsmanship, industrial professionals, sculptures, painters as well as specialists in cast bronze, stained glass, and laser cutting. Studio Job is a pioneer in cutting-edge design and they continue to remind us that thinking outside of the box is key.
