The Doi Pendant features a slim cylindrical spotlight housing an integrated LED light source. When paired with the optional Counterweight Disc accessory, the cylinder can be repositioned to direct light at different angles. Available in Matte White with ribbed details, Black, or Brass finish with Black canopy.
Note: Includes pendant and circular canopy. The Counterweight Disc and Off-Center Mounting accessories are sold separately.

About Meneghello & Paolelli
Marco Paolelli and Sandro Meneghello, in addition to being product designers, are strategic consultants for industrial products. They founded Meneghello Paolelli Associati in Milan in 2007. Since then, the studio has grown and now counts a team of collaborators in addition to the founders, as well as a series of project development and communications partners.
Behind every project there is a long and tireless process undertaken together with the companies, from the first brief to the final version of the product. Each company is a world unto itself, whose potential, technological and production abilities, and last but not least, commercial needs are studied in depth. Once this introduction is completed, Meneghello Paolelli Associati uses its particular approach to the project that also favors a certain form of lateral thinking, which brings the two creatives to develop each design project in an unconventional way, for example, transforming aesthetic stimulations or project solutions from environments completely external to the world of design in the strict sense.
This is how the innovation process functions, on one hand, by working closely with the partner companies, and on the other hand, by maintaining an opening even to other areas to receive creative stimulation and innovative ideas. The drive toward innovation, in both concept and aesthetics, has never been the objective unto itself. Anchoring innovation to the concrete quality of a need for functionality and beauty: this is our mission, say Marco Paolelli and Sandro Meneghello.
As a testimony to this effort and the solidity of its approach, the studio has received numerous international recognitions, among which are 12 Red Dot Design Award of which 1 Best of the Best, 7 Design Plus, 3 Good Design Award, 3 iF Design Award, 5 ADI Design Index, 4 special mentions within the German Design Award and 5 mentions within the Young & Design award.
With Luceplan, the studio designed for the first time in 2021 a real collection of outdoor lamps (Nui) with 4 different variants, ranging from wall and floor models, as well as a rechargeable in & out lamp (Nui Mini), which reflects on the issue of portability in an unprecedented and very sophisticated way. That with Luceplan is the first structured collaboration in the lighting sector and in a long term perspective.

Luceplan was set up with the object of creating and producing interior and exterior lighting and to enhance the quality of living. Energy saving is therefore a top priority and cannot be confined to the ratio of lighting to energy consumption: it must embrace the environmental compatibility of our whole operation from choice of materials to the manufacturing process, from product durability to product maintenance. Luceplan believes if an light fixture is to last, it needs to be beautiful as well as technologically sound. But a long-lasting product also offers better environmental compatibility and it outlives fashions.
