The Collar Open End Sofa reinterprets classic sofa design with angled cushions and generous curves for a luxe, modern aesthetic. The cushion gracefully wraps around the arm into the backrest like a collar, from which the sofa takes its name. This unique design, along with a low back and deep seat, makes Collar perfectly suited to laying out and lounging. Use one open end sofa on its own as a chaise longue, or place two together to form a sectional.

    Meike Harde is a multidisciplinary designer and founder of Studio Meike Harde based in Cologne, Germany. After studying product design at HBK Saar and graduating in 2011, she founded her own studio in 2013 where she has worked with brands such as Woud, Forestier, and Vibia.

    Harde's work is defined by a meticulous approach that results in visually light and constructively smart designs. She uses common materials in new contexts and shapes in a way that overcomes established forms to produce new furniture, lighting, and product designs.
