The Parnell Pendant was designed by Clarence Mallari to resemble a large bell, but with a delicate sophistication due to the fineness of the Kraft Paper twine. The string is double-wrapped on both the outside and the inside of the wrought iron finish. A frosted white glass globe is the finishing touch that allows this pendant to create a lovely glow.

About Clarence Mallari
Clarence Mallari is a senior lighting designer at Currey & Company, where he shapes expressive, finely crafted fixtures rooted in material storytelling and artisanal technique. Mallari leans into the tactile potential of mixed media - braided rope, wrought iron, hand-woven wicker, seeded glass - combining them into forms that feel both organic and rigorously composed. His designs often reference historical - and sometimes whimsical - sources: for example, his Quennell chandelier evokes the seeded glass canisters of classic lanterns, while his Emmental chandelier plays on concentric rings inspired by the look of Swiss cheese.
