About Arne Vodder
Arne Vodder (1926-2009) was a prominent Danish architect and designer in the mid-20th century. In the mid-1940s, Vodder studied at the School of Interior Design under master carpenter Niels Vodder and graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1947 where he studied architecture under his mentor Finn Juhl. In the 1950s and 60s, Vodder collaborated closely with Sibast Furniture, where his designs were exported to clients around the world including US president Jimmy Carter and Pope Paul V.
