The Canopy LED Pendant owes both its shape and its name to the ceiling rose, one of the simplest and often neglected elements of lighting technology, used to conceal the wires coming out of the ceiling. It features a wide dome shade with a glossy exterior and a white painted interior to better reflect the light.

About Francesco Rota
Francesco Rota is a Milan-based designer whose work spans lighting, furniture, interiors and spatial interventions. He studied product design at the Art Center College of Design (La Tour-de-Peilz) before founding his multidisciplinary studio in 1998. In lighting, Rota embraces clarity and material balance - his collections for Oluce and other brands often juxtapose minimal forms, hidden geometry and subtle details of texture. Over the years, his aesthetic has remained rooted in elegance and longevity: he seeks to design pieces that feel effortless yet intelligent, integrating light into the architecture while respecting the discipline of industrial production.
