Designed by Studio Brichet-ZieglerRead Bio
The Niwaki Table Lamp draws inspiration from the sculptural pine trees of Japanese gardens, which have been carefully trained to imitate the gnarled look of windswept trees. The Niwaki Table Lamp evokes this look with an angled stem and wide shade which directs light downward across the tabletop. Rotary dimmer switch located on cord.

About Studio Brichet-Ziegler
Caroline Ziegler et Pierre Brichet founded the studio BRICHETZIEGLER in 2010. The design duo built up through exchange and dialogue to make an open think tank, where poetry, materials and forms express with sensitivity.
They collaborate with several furniture and lighting companies, and work on industrial projects and interior design.
In 2015, they started a new adventure while launching a self made collection, By Hands. A family of objects and small furniture, imagined, designed and made by themselves in their workshop, in limited edition. This is a laboratory for various researches on shapes and materials. They were awarded the VIA Project Assistance grants in 2011 and 2012, and the Bourse Agora grant in 2007 with Collectif Dito. In 2018, they are awarded Grand Prix de la Cration de la Ville de Paris.

Founded in 2008, DCW editions sought to bring the past to light, with an eye on the future. They began with the GRAS lamp from inventor Bernard-Albin Gras. Their work always feels a bit industrial chic, timeless yet rooted in a bygone era. Julien Porche's Surpil chair, Bernard Schottlander's Mantis lamps, Bertrand Balas's Here Comes the Sun pendant, Dominique Perrault and Galle Lauriot-Prvost's In the Tube collection form just a portion of their growing - and award-winning - selection of unique fixtures.
