The Cobra Scorpius Table Lamp is modern homage to Elio Martinelli's iconic mid-century design. Cobra boasts a sleek look composed of two resin molded bodies connected by a central joint for a 360 rotation of the shade. When the shade is rotated outward, its shape is reminiscent of a cobra ready to strike.

This updated edition of the Cobra Table Lamp features holes in the shade in the pattern of the Scorpius constellation. When the lamp is turned on, light passes through these holes and creates a dazzling contrast against the Night Blue finish. On/off switch located on cord.

    About Emiliana Martinelli

    Emiliana Martinelli (b. 1949) is a designer, art director, and president of Italian lighting company Martinelli Luce. Martinelli studied ceramics at the Istituto d'Arte in Lucca, Italy and industrial design at ISIA in Florence. Upon graduation, Martinelli entered the family business started by her grandfather Plinio and continued by her father Elio. Martinelli's long collaboration with her father helped shape the artistic direction of Martinelli Luce. In addition to her work as an award-winning designer, Martinelli also serves as president of the company.
