About Tom Fereday
Born in Australia and raised in London, Tom Fereday studied sculpture and graphic design at the Wimbledon School of Art. He then returned to Australia to complete an honors degree in Industrial Design at the University of Technology Sydney and worked across Europe and Australia before starting his own practice in 2012.
Fereday's approach to design is defined by the tension and union between natural materials and modern design and manufacturing processes. His holistic approach explores the role of objects in our lives and celebrates the role of materials and techniques as intrinsic parts of the design. Fereday's commitment to honest design has led to collaborations with renowned brands such as Louis Vuitton, Stellarworks, and Herman Miller.
