Corrado Dotti is an Italian designer based in Milan whose work has become highly regarded in contemporary lighting. After studying Industrial Design in Milan and collaborating with leading design houses such as Matteo Thun & Partners and Armani Casa, Dotti established his own studio to explore a vision that blends minimalism with expressive materiality. His approach to lighting emphasizes refined geometry, balanced proportions, and the tactile presence of glass and metalqualities that allow his designs to adapt seamlessly to both residential and contract spaces while maintaining a distinct identity.
Dotti's long-standing collaboration with Italian lighting brand TOOY has produced acclaimed collections including Nabila, Gordon, Molly, Legier, and Lilly. These families showcase his ability to combine technical precision with a poetic understanding of light and atmosphere. Characterized by soft diffusion, elegant modularity, and subtle retro references, his pieces reinterpret classic forms through contemporary craftsmanship.
