About Franco Raggi
Franco Raggi was born in Milan in 1945, where he graduated with a degree in architecture in 1969. From 1971 until 1976, he was the editor of the magazine Casbella, and from 1977 until 1980 he was editor-in-chief of the design magazine Modo, which he directed until 1983. In 1973 Franco Raggi and Aldo Rossi organized the International Architecture Department of the Milan Triennial. Again in 1973 he organized the first critical exhibition on the Italian Radical Design for the IDZ (Internationale Design Zentrum) of Berlin. Franco Raggi designed structures, settings, exhibitions, books, magazines, stage designs, habitats and objects; the latest for various companies including Fontana Arte, Cappellini, Poltronova, Luceplan, Tendentse, Roset Francia and Barovier.
