The Tratto Wall Sconce creates intriguing plays of light and shadow on a wall with its opal glass diffuser and metal structure. The round glass is held slightly away from the wall by an elegantly curved arm to cast a halo of warm light backwards and a translucent glow from the front and sides of the glass. Tratto's blend of aesthetics and functionality makes it a great addition to hallways, living rooms, or bed rooms.

After studying product design at HBK Saarbrcken, he worked as a freelance designer before establishing his studio. His design philosophy centers on creating products with a strong, timeless character that are easy to comprehend, balancing simplicity, function, and narrative. Schick aims for his designs to be functional yet include small, unexpected details that spark emotions and associations, believing the narrative aspect is as important as its function. His work often involves exploring experimental projects related to materials, functions, and sustainability, and he has designed for companies like Ligne Roset, GUBI, and Montis.
