The DIY (Do-It-Yourself) TruArch 1 is a 24VDC Plaster-in system that recesses within 5/8 inch drywall without any framing modification required. TruArch can be used within vertical archways or horizontally on curved walls with an inner or outer curvature that has a minimum radius of at least 8 inch. This innovative and highly efficient system blends seamlessly into the drywall, becoming part of the architecture.
TruArch 1 DIY can be secured to studs spaced 13-24 inches apart or in between them with the provided mounting straps. The channels are in 1 foot increments, and the LED strips can be cut every 2.4 inch or 3 inch depending on the color temperature selection. Multiple runs of channel mount flawlessly together (up to 40 feet before re-feeding).
NOTE: LED strip, lens, all mounting accessories, and remote power supply are required for DIY TruArch 1 and sold separately. See LED strip for power supply options
LED Strip for TruArch 1 is available in a broad range of wattages and color temperature from 2400K-4000K in Static White, Warm Dim (2700K-1800K or 3000K-1800K), Monochromatic Color, Tunable White 2K6K (2000K-6500K), RGB (Red-Blue-Green), RGBW (RGB+White 2000K), and TruColor RGBTW Color Changing RGB with Tunable White (1500K-6500K).
