      Originally designed in 1969 and out of production for more than 50 years, the timeless Lotus Table Lamp makes its return. Designer Carlo Nason sought to push the limits of aesthetics and material possibility with the Lotus, which pairs traditional Murano glassmaking techniques with a stylized, futuristic look. Four nested layers of mouthblown glass form a blossom-like shape, from which the lamp takes its name. Each layer is made using the pulegoso technique which gives the glass a semi-opaque appearance from air bubbles within the glass. Each layer partially obscures the light bulb to produce a gently diffused glow that will bring a sense of calmness and harmony to any interior.
