      Striking contemporary light fixture

        Got this to dress up my home office and give it a more contemporary "business office" feel than my house. Gotten several compliments. Seems easy to install but that was beyond my pay grade so I got help.

          We were sure exactly where to put this but when we received it we realized it would fit anywhere! It has a super simple and sleek design and we ended up using it in our closet because it was so bright it was perfect!

          Bold light, modernizes our kitchen

            I wasn't sure if this would fit within our house. Our style is a bit of a blend of mid-century with elements that are a touch more contemporary. This light is more modern. The light we had was not the right one, it was too small. This looked like a cool, statement piece in the kitchen above the island.

            A couple things to call out. 1) I'd put a dimmer switch on this light, it's bright 2) I might have done something wrong w/ the installation but the flush mount didn't work all that well for me. The rod that fits across the universal box fitting bent under the weight of the light. I had some spare aluminum that I cut and placed to give it a bit more rigidity.

            Overall, it gives the kitchen the pop we were looking for.
