Completely satisfied with the look and workmanship of the lanterns. My only complaint is that they are shipped in styrofoam which splinters into tiny fragments and is a major nuisance to dispose of. Better to use foam rubber or better yet the new puffy paper type products which can be efficiently recycled.

With three 60 watt equipment bulbs these lamps are very bright. 40 watts would be just fine. These lamps look great and are good quality. Love the clear glass and black finish. Also the size is just right for our house.

We purchased this fixture for the exterior wall just outside a door leading to our pool and patio. It looks wonderful against the red brick of our Georgian Style home.

Beautiful Modern Lantern

This is a beautiful modern lantern. It's a true matte black finish with an updated candle design. Rather than white candles that need replacing over time this fixture features an all black metal candle giving it a more modern look. I like that the lantern does not have a metal top because this design allows the light to reflect upward as well as outward. My old light was incandescent and had 3 LED compatible bulbs. Although this 17.5 LED fixture only has 2 bulbs it provides plenty of light around my home. The light fixture is quite sturdy even though it is mostly glass. This lantern was packaged well required no assembly had detailed installation instructions and was easy to install. I would highly recommend this quality light fixture or any other Hinkley fixture.

I bought 4 of these-2 for the front of my house over my driveway & 2 for my backyard patio area & they look gorgeous. They definitely elevate the look & will go great with my new garage door arriving soon. Very modern & chic. Great buy!

These two items are at our front door. Provide a extensive amount of light even with lower wattage bulbs. Seem to appear well made and anticipate will meet the test of time.

Purchased these smaller light fixtures for back doors because they match larger ones that were also purchased to replace older ones on front porch. Very happy with them - they look very nice on my traditional colonial style home and give a nice soft but bright light..

Disappointed

I think these lights are really attractive and love the look of them! However I'm disappointed with the quality. We have 5 small on our patio 2 medium by our garage 2 medium by our mudroom and 1 large by our front door. We can not get all the lights to work at the same time because the connections aren't great. It feels like an old set of Christmas lights where you have to turn it just so to get a light to turn on. This helps for a second and then goes out again. It's really frustrating and I've given up!
