The Ginger Portable Table Lamp features a clean and simple design and has the ability to go wherever you are. With a battery inside base that is rechargeable and can last 5 hours in peak power, 10 hours in half power, or 20 hours in quarter power. Battery charging time: 10 hours. 3-step dimmer allows you to control the amount of light output. Diffuser and pressed wood base in Natural Oak or Wenge with a White reflector and lacquered black matte metal stem, or a diffuser and base Brushed Brass with a White or Brushed Brass reflector and lacquered black matte metal stem. UL listed.

Joan Gaspar studied industrial design in the school of Artes y Oficios in Barcelona. In 1988 started work for VAPOR S.A manufacturing minimalist lamps. From 1992 collaborated with a variety of firms to create new product lines: Roca, Resol, Marset, Mobles 114, Perobell, Santa&Cole, DAE, Vilagrasa, Made Design.From 1996 collaborated closely with the company Marset Iluminacin, developing new products, and product direction for the company. His work has been selected on a variety of occasions for the awards at FAD.In 1995 received first prize in the Furniture Competition of the Comunidad Castilla la mancha, and in 2000 wins the first prize at the Valencia International Furniture Fair.In 2001 was awarded with the Delta de Plata for the Atlas range of lamps, and in 2005 for the Nen de Luz, both designed for Marset Iluminacin.Since 1998 Joan has given classes in Materials and technology applied to industrial design, at Elisava School of design in Barcelona. In 2002 opened a professional design Studio in Barcelona working with various companies on new product concepts.

This light fixture is supplied with an integrated LED module which means it is built in, there is no bulb required. Generally LED modules like this will last 30,000-50,000 hours and through normal use, could last anywhere from 10-15 years.
