Superlight DeskLamp balances the demands of both workplace and home with a combination of minimal form and maximal function. It is a task light reduced to its essence. A gestural line in space resulting in a precise yet playful structure defying gravity with an appearance of near weightlessness. Superlight achieves fluid, sweeping movement in every direction with a full range of motion, providing light exactly where you need it. The ergonomically positioned switch allows for single-handed use with effortless. Lens rotates 90 degrees for calibrated light adjustment. Six hour energy saving auto-off timer. Available in Black or White. Includes Charcoal, Mustard, Chestnut, and Turquoise felt base pads.

About Peter Stathis
Peter Stathis began his design career in 1981 after he graduated from the Pratt Institute and from Cranbrook Academy in 1989, earning both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Fine Arts. Immediately after his graduation from Cranbrook, Stathis started his design company, Virtual Studio, in 1990 and thus his career was off. Stathis moved his studio to San Francisco in 2000. After this move, Stathis began receiving numerous awards for his artwork has since been featured in art galleries across the world, most notably the New York Museum of Modern Art and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Stathis over his career has not only been a successful designer, but a successful educator as well. He is currently the Chair of Design at Philadelphia’s University of the Arts and is the Director of the world-renown 3D Design Department at the Cranbrook Academy of Art.
