Was excited to get this light but the diagram for affixing the base was very confusing and never did figure it out until my son came over and did it. He couldn't decode the instructions either. There seems to be several loose connections in the thing which were resolved by "wiggling" different parts around and that really disappointed me considering the price of this light. It looks great but am bummed about the lack of quality control. Don't want to go through the hassle of taking it apart, repackaging, etc. so will keep it and hope our "wiggle" adjustments will will be long lasting.
