Melt Mini Wall / Ceiling Light features a beautifully distorted globe that creates a mesmerizing melting hot blown glass effect. The Bronze, Copper, Gold, Silver, and Smoke shades are translucent when on and mirror-finish when off to emit an attractive display of light. The Opal shade offers a more traditional look and produces a gentle, warm glow. May be mounted as wall or ceiling light. Not intended for outdoor use. UL and cUL listed. Designed in London.

The manufacturer cleaning instructions are as follows: clean with a soft dry cloth only. Do not use polishing agents, water or abrasive materials when cleaning. Always switch off the electricity supply before cleaning.

I received the light in two boxes, the hardware/base and the shade separately. The instructions for installing the base are IKEA-like in detail - very sparse. The shade came wrapped in thin 1/8 flat foam wrap & plastic bag and when I went to screw the light shade in I noticed what was quite a bit of dust particles and defect in shade. I used a microfiber cloth to wipe the interior and noticed 3 pits/nicks on one side of the
exterior shade and 2 long deep scratches on the other side of the shade. These damage/defects cause the light to shine through and draw attention to the flaws more so. I have reached to lightology customer on Monday 5/26 sending pictures and have not heard back from them yet.
