The Calx Wall Sconce offers an intriguing geometric look with clean lines that will add a subtle complexity to any exterior space with its shade composed of triangular shapes, providing up and down lighting. Available finished in Antique Bronze, Textured Black, Textured White, Marine Grade Stainless Steel, or Matte Grey. Option of 2700, 3000, 3500, or 4000K color temperature with standard output (1130 lumens) or reduced output (540 lumens). Standard output dimmable with a TRIAC or electronic low voltage dimmer (120VAC), or 0-10V dimmer, sold separately. Reduced output option is not dimmable. Made in the USA. UL and cUL listed for wet locations. ADA compliant.

About Nick Sheridan
Nick Sheridan, one of three friends and cofounders of Cerno, is the lead designer for the California-based light manufacturer whose mission is to design and build original products that marry modernism and contemporary design. Sheridan cultivated an interest in design from a young age by tagging along with his father, a general contractor, to construction sites. The pair would often venture to visit iconic architectural sites like the Gamble House, a famous craftsman styled home, in Pasadena. Sheridan went on to study architecture where he was exposed to modernism and minimalism, gained inspiration from architects like Mies Van Der Rohe and Le Corbusier, and was significantly influenced by the juxtaposition of old and new architecture while he studied abroad in Florence. All of these influenced and ultimately shaped the Cerno style. A few of his favorite designs from over the years, include the Vesper, Acuo, Levo, and Camur.
