Great fan overall. Installed 44 size over bed in a 13 x 10 room with 7.5 ft ceilings and size is appropriate. Pretty quiet for sitting close to ceiling . I use on lower settings though and efficiently cools. Cons: light not very bright & installation hard. We have hung all our wall ceiling recessed cans porch fan and under-cabinet light fixtures in our home but this was very difficult to install even with two people. I would suggest installing during customer service hrs in case you need help as instructions were vague. I like the removable remote which replaces old light switch but wish it came with a second dummy wall plate to have remote by bed at night instead of on nightstand. I used a dummy toggle-type switch plate and use 3M mounting strips to solve that issue. Suggestion for Hinkley: make remote programmable so that you could delay start fan so it would come on after falling asleep I would pay money for that feature!

quiet even at the higher speeds; does a great job of moving the air in our ~18' X14' bedroom; good variation of light intensity; remote is so handy and can be easily left in the wall plate and then simply popped out if you prefer to have it bedside at times.

I would give this fan 5 stars based on hardware but the network connection is weak and the instructions could be simplified. The wireless antenna is supposed to be straight and not tangled with other wires but that is impossible in the small space provided.

Reliability is a key concern for me and it's way too soon to tell for sure so I'm not ready to give it a 5. On initial use it was extreme quiet at low settings and at higher setting all one hears is the noise of air moving. The size of the motor enclosure relative to the blade size was somewhat large than anticipated.

After 6+ months of operation very satisfied. Fan is very quiet with variable speeds lighting is effective with variable levels. A bit expensive but this is state of the art technology and a quality product.

DC motor fan is great. Remote not so much.

This is my second Trey 44 LED Smart Fan. Very happy with this fan. Like the DC motor. First fan had the wall mount control which performed well. The late 2024 version has magnetic mount plastic remote. Have had operational issues with the buttons. Need to carefully unscrew it to open avoid stripping the plastic threads. So now I use the manual switch to turn it on and off.

Purchased for my home office that get really warm afternoon sun. It has been wonderful having this fan on! My office stuff doesn't fly away but it definitely helps keep the room from getting undesirably hot and stagnant! So quiet it doesn't interfere with my conference calls! Love it!

Had problems with wiring the fan but the staff continued to help until the issues were resolved. The fan is quiet and smooth and the light is bright enough when needed.

Modern design and circulates air very well in a lower level bedroom. Electrician had difficulty installing fan but did receive excellent technical help from Hinckley.

We would have liked the light to be brighter. But overall the 44 LED is a good product. It runs smoothly the remote contol works great and we don't have to use a pull string like previous fan/light.

Small but mighty. Have been using my Trey DC motor fan for several months. Wanted to try DC power for potential energy savings. So far so good. Electricity bill has not increased. Very quiet on low to medium speeds. The light on the highest setting could be brighter. Overall pleased with this fan.

Two fans are placed on the patio about 15 ft apart. And about 15 feet apart from Hunter fans placed inside the house in the family room and great room. The fans according to Hinkley support are too close together and crosstalk occurs between the fans/remote controls. For example. When I turn on the fan light in the family room both patio lights turn on also. Same for the fan function.

Looks beautiful quiet & great air movement! Like the remote & wall switch feature. Didn't necessarily need the light but I'm so glad it came with it. Love! We had to add the electrical so installation was more difficult than usual. But expected.

Nice decorator fan that blends in with my bedroom decor. Extremely quiet and good output. We typically keep at lowest speed and it's mire than sufficient in our 30o sq ft room. Really like you can mount the remote with a switch plate that's included. Light out is sufficient as we have other lighting in room

We love the fan so much we're purchasing two more for other rooms. It was easy to install and is very quiet. I love the fact the I can program and control the fan with the app. Alexa integration is also a mig win. Works great!

I actually have 4 Hinkley fans all purchased for my beach house. They are quiet and have a remote that allows you to change fan speeds and light brightness. Very modern style. I purchased them all in white so they are barely noticeable in the ceilings.

I installed this fan in my bedroom and it is absolutely silent. The only sound you hear is the blades moving the air when you turn the speed up high enough. Two improvements I think they could make. First is the push button wall switch. When you're going into the dark room it would be better to have a toggle switch to use to turn the light on rather than trying find the push button on the little panel to turn the light on. The other minor issue is this is the fourth ceiling fan I've installed in the last few months. The other three were from a competitor and I feel like if I hadn't had the experience of putting those up I would have had a bit more difficulty with the Hinckley because the instructions are just not quite as clear and detailed as those from the other Fan Company. For these reasons I rated the fan a 4. But as far as the performance of The Fan and the light and everything else I'm very happy with the purchase.

Quiet and multiple settings

I have the fan in my bedroom. It is much quieter than the one I replaced and there are multiple speed settings and lighting levels. Changing from summer to winter is a simple push on the wall switch.I'd recommend it.

I installed the fan in the master bedroom. Great product! I would definitely recommend. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the installation instructions. After installing the fan ticked when running. I contacted customer support and was told the install instructions were not correct! I received an email with the corrected page. I made the adjustments the ticking is gone. Clearly a case for not including installation instructions but rather a link to a web page. This would allow corrections to be readily available. Also love the remote.

The fan is great exactly what we wanted. Had an issue with the wall controller but Tatum Dalton took care of us quickly and all is good. Using the Bluetooth app on the iPhone really makes the fan more worthwhile (we don't have to get up to turn on the LED or adjust the fan speed)! Great job!
