The Ginger Pendant is an extraordinarily lightweight disk crafted of beautiful natural wood of sleek aluminum. To form the wood disc versions, a combination of sheets of wood, paper, and resins are pressed together under high pressure to achieve a domed laminate. An inner disc supports an integrated LED disc that directs light upward into the larger shade for soft, diffused illumination.

About Joan Gaspar
Joan Gaspar studied industrial design in the school of Artes y Oficios in Barcelona. In 1988, he started work for VAPOR S.A manufacturing minimalist lamps. From 1992 on, Gaspar collaborated with a variety of firms to create new product lines: Roca, Resol, Marset, Mobles 114, Perobell, Santa & Cole, DAE, Vilagrasa, and Made Design. From 1996 on, he collaborated closely with Marset, developing new products and product direction for the company. His work has been awarded many prizes including first place in the Furniture Competition of the Comunidad Castilla La Mancha, first place at the Valencia International Furniture Fair, and the Delta de Plata Award.
