The Iglu S1 Pendant pairs a metal dome shade with an open mesh cage for a light, airy interpretation of the classic globe pendant. The mesh creates an interplay of light and shadow from the integrated LED light source, while the pendant's purely geometric, spherical form offers a balanced, harmonious expression.

About Oriano Favaretto
Oriano Favaretto is an Italian designer born in Silea, Treviso in 1956, who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice under master Emilio Vedova. He has long nurtured a passion for Murano glass and sculptural light, cultivating a poetic balancing act between form and emptiness. His work -rural yet visionary - often lives in the tension between the architectural and the expressive, embedding a quiet narrative in lighting, furniture, and glass objects. Over decades, Favaretto has collaborated with prestigious brands (such as Masiero, Leucos, Venini) and has earned accolades like the Murano Prize and the Prix d'Excellence for his Polip lamp, all while producing work exhibited in Murano's glass museum and private collections.

When Paolo Masiero and Marliena Pellizzato established Emme Pi Light-Masiero Group more than 30 years ago, it was with the philosophy of being “craftsmen of light.” Headquartered in Conscio di Casale sul Sile—just a short distance from Venice—Masiero Group quickly became known for lighting that merged the region’s heritage of exquisite craftsmanship with an unmistakably artistic, bespoke sensibility. When son Enrico Maria joined the company in 2001, it prompted a new generation of design and production, leading to the Classica, Eclettica and Ottocento collections. Although each grouping is defined by distinctive features, personalities and focuses, their shared DNA affirms that every luminaire from Masiero Group is as precious as it is decorative, and imbued with a timeless aura of exclusivity and elegance.
