For 40 years, Doyle Crosby worked as the lead designer of Boyd Lighting and helped to elevate the company's line with his designs inspired by nature and spirituality. His vision has helped inspire Boyd to develop new technologies and manufacturing techniques. Crosby retired from Boyd in 2019.

Today, Boyd Lighting is still family-owned and operated. They continue to produce their fixtures in their own factory in Colorado, using time-honored techniques and state-of-the-art technology.
