The large-scale Sonora PMMA Pendant features an impressive dome shade and is available in a variety of colors. Both Black and White are available with an optional inner Crackled Gold coating. Gold leaf is applied by hand and variations will occur. Note: 52.4 inch available in White and Opaline only.

About Vico Magistretti
Vico Magistretti (1920-2006) was an influential Italian product designer and architect renowned for his innovative and human-centered approach to design. Born in Milan, Magistretti belonged to a generation of designers who played a pivotal role in shaping the aesthetics of post-war Italian design.
Magistretti's work is characterized by a harmonious blend of functionality, form, and a keen understanding of materials. He was particularly known for his elegant and minimalist designs, often emphasizing simplicity and user-friendliness. Throughout his career, Magistretti collaborated with leading design manufacturers, contributing iconic pieces that became synonymous with mid-20th-century Italian design.
One of his most celebrated creations is the Eclisse table lamp, designed in 1967. This compact and adjustable table lamp features a rotating inner shell that allows users to control and modulate the light, showcasing Magistretti's commitment to both form and function.

Oluce was one of the first manufacturers to hire top designers like Vico Magistretti, Joe Colombo, Tito Agnoli, Marco Romanelli, Ferdi Giardini and Francesco Rota. Oluce's famous designs for outdoor lighting, table and floor lamps and wall sconces are now available as re-editions.
