The Buds 1 Table Lamp features a hand-blown, five-layer glass diffuser with a glossy finish. A transparent plastic base elevates the shade and heightens the elegance of the design. Since the aperture of the glass is noticeable, the light bulb remains clearly in sight and thus plays an aesthetic role. For this reason, a retrofit LED bulb with a frosted globe with a maximum diameter of 4.8 inches should be used. On/Off switch on cord.

About Rodolfo Dordoni
Born in Milan, Rodolfo Dordoni graduated from the University of Milan with a degree in architecture in 1979. He then launched his career in architecture and design, working at prominent design firms including Artemide, Foscarini, Flos Lighting, and The Rug Company. His design work spans a wide spectrum of projects from light fixtures to yachts to showrooms to entire residential complexes. Dordoni's versatility as a designer is matched by few others, and his design style in lighting is influenced by his experience designing boats and buildings. This gives his fixtures an urban, industrial feel that is sleek and solid without becoming overwhelming.
