Sandro Santantonio is an Italian multidisciplinary designer whose studio, founded in 2004 in Milan, bridges architecture, lighting, product and interior design. We've had (and loved) this lamp for about 6 years. The design and light output is beautiful. Unfortunately, after a few years, the elastic in the cover starts deteriorating. The elastic silk started sagging more and more until it finally completely slipped off the metal frame.
Customer service at Lightology tried to help us resolve this and offered a replacement cover. Unfortunately the replacement cover is almost the same price as the whole original lamp. A product in this price range should last longer than a few years.

The Muse is such a fun fixture that can really be used in just about any space - wall or ceiling mount. It's offered in several sizes and several fun colors - even a multi-color! I think the best feature of the Muse is that the fabric is removable and washable - easy to refresh! The wattage depends on the size you choose, but they have standard sockets so you can use regular incandescent lamps or compact fluorescent if you're feeling a little green.
