The Francis Coffee Table explores an artist's approach toward furniture. Watercolors on the tabletop explore the unexpected beauty found in old, oxidized mirrors and the poetic grace of colored pigments blooming in clear water, the likes of which can be seen in painter's studio. The watercolour designs are printed onto the base of the mirror which is then laminated, thereby giving the finished Francis greater visual depth and making it much more resistant. An aluminum base holds the mirror and rounds out the look. Available with a Black base with Black and Blue Watercolor or White Base with White and Green Watercolor.
