Mario Ruiz's Malmo Long Sideboard lets you discover, as speleologists do, the space where the sideboard collection gathers different layers of different materials. Precious materials arise from the delicate wooden curves and become the main players. The sideboard features steel legs holding up a walnut body and bronze metallic lacquer or mirror top and down-doors. Includes 2 large drop down doors.

        About Mario Ruiz

        Mario Ruiz (Alicante, 1965) graduated in Industrial Design at Elisava (Barcelona) and began his professional career in 1995 with the opening of his own studio in Barcelona.

        Since then, he has carried out projects for prestigious international companies in a wide range of sectors: technology, furniture, lighting, office and applied graphics, with some incursions also in interior design projects, ephemeral architecture and elements for architecture. Also, between 1992 and 2002, he taught Industrial Projects at the Eina and Elisava design schools in Barcelona.

        Mario Ruiz's work has been exhibited at fairs in Europe and Japan and has been recognized with more than 40 important awards. In 2016 he received the prestigious National Design Award. He has also received Delta de Plata awards, granted by the Industrial Design Association of Barcelona, ADI-FAD. In Europe and the United States, he has received numerous awards from Red Dot, IF, Design Plus and Wallpaper. He has also given numerous lectures in Tokyo, Singapore, New York, Dubai, London and Chicago.
