About Tom Nahabedian
A designer with an architectural background, Tom Nahabedian was educated at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he earned a master's degree in architecture. After years of training and experience with architectural firms, Nahabedian began his own practice in 2000 in Los Angeles before returning to Chicago to form BeareauAD, an architecture and design firm. His work with the firm is marked by rigorous attention to detail, sustainability, and innovation and includes many noteworthy projects, including the Brindille restaurant, winner of the 2015 James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Restaurant Design.
