Flush mount hall fixture
Very well made fixture. The textured glass reflects the light beautifully. The bronze finish is exactly what I was looking for.

Great low-profile light
This light was perfect for our hallway with low ceilings. It is well made and has the transitional look we were pursuing. And the color blended well with other silver and gold-tone colors in our home.
Even prettier in person
I put this in my home office and I am very pleased with the light provided and the quality. Really has an elegant feel even though it is a farmhouse type look. I was very pleased with the product and would recommend without hesitation.

Beautiful but would make some modifications.
I have a small kitchen with poor lighting. I've been looking for something more modern to go with my updated granite counter tops and new backsplash. I purchased two and they turned out to be perfect and so beautiful. LOVE the speckled glass and they give off so much light. What I totally hate is the difficulty keeping them clean. Dust and grease accumulates. To take them down and clean them is the worst. The electrician told us It will take two people to disassemble and reassemble from a ladder. Most difficult for this 72 year old and I'm a young 72 year old. Other than that it would be 5 stars.

Put this up in our home office. Lots of light and it is a beautiful addition to the decor. It was not as easy to put up as other Hinkley products. We finally had to use a different bracket than the one that came with it and it went right up with no problem.
I would purchase this light again.

Retro/Modern Ceiling Light Fixture
This fit our retro/modern style. Using two of these in our walk in pantry. Would have given this five stars but it is a little tricky changing out the bulbs.

Love the look but thebowlmakes it very difficult to clean and difficult to change the bulbs. I will need someone to help taking it apart.

Sophisticated but simple
This light is nice alternative to the traditional ceiling mount lights. We installed in our hallway and it provides just the right sophistication while not standing out too much. It provides plenty of light with 3 40w bulbs which we installed.

Looks great in my entryway
The 14 Harper hangs in my condo entryway. I was concerned that the etched opal glass would not give enough light but it is not so it is very bright as an entryway light.

Well made beautiful light. Good transitional piece that has an updated retro look. The metal is a good shade of gold not too bright/shiny or too dull/dark. The glass shade is a nice neutral white and is structurally sound.I have it in my foyer. I am very happy with the light.

Looks great changing the bulb is a challenge
It looks great and the install was easy. Only downside I see is changing the bulb there are just a lot of part to juggle hold and line up while standing on a ladder. Small price for a great look.
Nice fixture
Kitchen light fixture. Love the light but final stages of mounting the glass into the supporting arms and securing the fixture was tricky and required two people. Lots of adjustments before it was secure.
Great looking versatile design
This is a handsome and well made fixture with a design that works well in our home's stylstic blend of arts/crafts and MMM. We bought three at once; one for our entryway one for the hallway in front of a closet and one at the top of a stair landing. The design is subtle enough that it doesn't seem too repetitive. I take off one star for lack of practicality. The glass shade is open so will collect dust/insects but it cannot easily be removed/replaced by one person for cleaning. Installation itself is a bit of a handful because the glass is not attached to anything and must be supported by a second pair of hands while one secures the bracket knobs. (Yes that's two people sharing a stepladder...both for installation and for routine cleaning...)

great blend of traditional and modern
I bought this in oiled bronze for a bedroom in an old farmhouse (c 1875). I love the combination of a traditional shape (school-house like) and modern white matte glass! The floating matte glass shade creates a relaxing visual effect. Note the glass is entirely open on top so bugs can get in during warmer months - simply clean out as needed (once a month or so).
