TC2R 6 Inch Remodel Non-IC Housing is for use in remodel applications where back side of ceiling is not accessible. Installs through an opening in the ceiling from below. Secured in place by factory installed remodel springs. Design for use in non-insulated areas. If installed where insulation is present, the insulation must be pulled back 3 inches from all sides of the housing. Medium base porcelain with nickel-plated copper screw shell. Drop socket with spring to accommodate certain trim installation. UL listed for through-branch wiring, damp locations and IP. Product thermally protected against improper use of lamps or insulation. Lamp type and wattage dependent on housing/trim combination. Halogen and incandescent bulb options dimmable with a standard incandescent dimmer, sold separately. Check with bulb manufacturer for dimmer compatibility when using LED bulb option. 7.3 inch width x 13.75 inch length x 5.25 inch height. A complete fixture includes a housing and trim, sold separately.
