Buds 1 Table Lamp features a hand-blown five-layer glass diffuser with glossy finish. The internal glass layer is a pale, straw yellow to make the light warmer and the color more intense. Available in Warm White with a transparent PMMA cylinder base. Since the aperture of the glass is noticeable, the light bulb remains clearly in sight and thus plays an aesthetic role. For this reason, a retrofit LED or fluorescent light bulb with a frosted globe with a maximum diameter of 4.8 inches should be used. One 23 watt max 120 volt medium base CFL or LED bulb is required, but not included. On/Off switch on cord. 10.3 inch width x 22.25 inch height. UL listed.

Born in Milan, Rodolfo Dordoni graduated from the University of Milan with a degree in architecture in 1979. He then launched his career in architecture and design, working at prominent design firms including Artemide, Foscarini, Flos Lighting, and The Rug Company. His design work spans a wide spectrum of projects from light fixtures to yachts to showrooms to entire residential complexes. Dordoni's versatility as a designer is matched by few others, and his design style in lighting is influenced by his experience designing boats and buildings. This gives his fixtures an urban, industrial feel that is sleek and solid without becoming overwhelming.
