The 28721 3 Inch Square Aperture Non-IC Remodel Housing with Downlight Trim is constructed of 18 gauge powder coated steel. Non-IC designation requires that insulation be kept a minimum of 3 inches away from housing. Includes 15 watt, 120 volt LED module with 40 degree beam angle in 3000K or 3500K color temperature, 80+CRI, 1290 lumens. 50,000 hour average lamp life. Class 2 dimmable constant current driver included. Driver box mates to fixture by 12 inch flexible BX cable. Thermally protected. Input voltage: 120 volt. Dimmable with a TRIAC dimmer, sold separately. Cutout: 3.25 inch square. Can be converted to a Non-IC new construction housing using the 30535-15 mounting plate.
