Ask a QuestionCan the celeste chandelier by generation lighting be hung on a vaulted ceiling? Also, can it be installed in a porch gable?

Answer
Yes, this fixture has a half ball style mounting bracket so it can be installed on a vaulted ceiling with a maximum of a 22 degree slope. As far as installing it in a porch gable, it is damp rated so electrically it should be fine as long as the connections are not going to be exposed to water or any kind of direct moisture . If the porch gable is enclosed, but the fixture is going to be exposed to cool air and moisture constantly then the fixture's finish will probably deteriorate. Typically when a fixture has a damp rating, that is meant for a damp, but controlled environment like a bathroom where a steamy shower can be taken, but the steam will dissipate over a short period of time.

It is large & Beautiful!
The Generation Lighting-Celeste Large Chandelier in Aged Iron is gorgeous. I just love the look of it, but it is very large. The spot that I was originally thinking to hang it was to small for a chandelier of this size. We ended up hanging it in the stairway between our upstairs and basement and I am very happy with it.
