I agree with other reviewer that the clip could be better but if you don't change setting often then it is fine. Like the simple design, outstanding quality and rotatable shade. Love it!

I wanted to LOVE this floor lamp but sadly it's design and quality isn't what you would expect. The good side - the finish and stability are great. The bad - the height adjustment doesn't hold in place. The way the fixture adjusts is using these clamps that hold on to the taller post. We've been informed that you need to squeeze the clamps to hold the fixture in its spot. If you adjust the light up, by just moving it up with your hand and not doing anything, the light will slowly lower its way down the pole. I totally understand wanting to keep the mechanism simple, but the design is just too simple and it won't hold up to regular use.
