Featuring curved blades and nautical rope detailing, the Marin Smart Ceiling Fan with Light accents your space with maritime flair. This versatile fan brings comfort to indoor or covered outdoor settings, providing LED illumination and powerful yet efficient airflow with its DC motor.
A convenient wireless HIRO control is included. It incorporates WiFi and RF technology and enables motor on/off, 6 speeds, forward and reverse, and light on/off and warm dimming (dims from 3000K to warmer). The control can be wall-mounted or hand-held. A face plate and cradles are included, and the remote fits in standard decorative style face plates as well. A manual on/off switch is also included.
The Hinkley app on your smartphone offers further control options. In addition to the basic functions, the app has timers, breeze mode and other advanced features, and can link the fan to smart home tech including Google, Amazon Alexa, and Siri. This smart Marin fan fits seamlessly into your modern lifestyle.
A matching cover plate is included, to be installed if the light kit is not used. Other optional accessories are sold separately.

Coastal Vibes
This fan is not only very stylish with its coastal look but it is very efficient at moving air and extremely quiet. I was concerned with it having only 3 blades but it really moves a lot of air and actually more than the 5-blade fan I replaced it with. The remote is very small and since we did not wall mount it I was able to find a holder for the remote on Hinkley site that makes it a bit easier to use and provides greater comfort when using. Highly recommend.

We purchased two of these fans for our beach condo. LOVE them! The clean lines and rope detail are perfect for a coastal look but would be great in any casual setting. The fans are super quiet yet produce a cooling breeze that isn't hurricane-like. The light when we use it is just enough to provide central lighting for the room. This is the first fan in which I've had a remote control to use and although I didn't think I'd use it I quickly found that I did. My only complaint is the beep that is emitted when I turn the light or fan on or off from its previous setting. That's a little annoying especially if my husband is asleep and I want to turn the fan off (or on). Could have done without that feature. Otherwise I'm so glad we purchased these!

I would buy it but it is difficult to install
I installed this myself in my master bedroom and it looks great as it matches our furniture and beach theme. It comes with a wireless remote sits on the wall and is held in place with a magnet when not in use. The size of the remote is a little small and concerns me that it could be easily lost. I don't like that every time you press a button on the remote it beeps and there is a delay. I also don't care for the fact that there isn't the ability to just control the fan and light independently through wall switches. I'm concerned that if the remote fails or is lost then I won't be able to turn on the fan or light. Regarding the installation I have put up many ceiling fans and this was the worst one I've ever put up. It has a wireless receiver that the wall remote communicates with and it is too big for the space it has to be installed in with all the wiring and connections that need to be made. If I didn't have an attic to climb in to then I probably wouldn't have been able to wire it and would have had to return it. In summary visually it is beautiful but installing it was awful.

Absolutely the best choice for our cozy beach house. It took a room with a white fan that disappeared and added beauty and interest. We use the remote wifi features when we are away to turn the lights on and off with a schedule.

THe fan moves a lot of air but would like it to move faster. It goes 1-6 but needs to go upto 10. The light is also the same. Just not quite good enough. Realy dislike the low yellow light. give us options.

It's in a 20' x 20' room with a vaulted ceiling. While it works well it really isn't sufficient for this room and that's why it gets 4 stars. The remote is very good.

Never received fan only the down rod arrived. Both items tracking info said that both fan and down rod were to be delivered same day and time. All we received was downrod. The tracking info said the fan was delivered! Which it was not. I filed a claim with UPS and Lightology and have heard nothing from either. Unacceptable!!! I am not asking for a refund I just want my fan.
